Welcome to The Birthday Club

Can you imagine a birthday with no cake? No candles? No party, or friends, or presents?

Neither can we.

We believe that every child deserves to have one day a year that is a celebration of his or her life, even when they are living in temporary housing. When a child is living in a homeless shelter, a birthday is often lost in the shuffle of the day-to-day struggle for survival. 

Our mission is to provide monthly birthday parties and seasonal special events for the children living at Genesis A New Life , a shelter for families with newborns and older children located in downtown Atlanta.
 

What makes The Birthday Club exceptional is that kids are invited to get involved with their parents. We all know that children learn by example and through experience. We strive to empower parents to find meaningful ways to teach their children how to give back - and to discover the joy that comes from helping others.
