How You Can Help
Each month The Birthday Club provides a birthday party for the children who have birthdays in that month at the Genesis A New Life Shelter. We provide cake, beverages, paper goods, entertainment, birthday gifts, and goodie bags.
The Birthday Club is 100% volunteer driven and cannot survive without your help! There are so many ways to be involved:

All gifts to The Birthday Club are accepted on behalf of Genesis a New Life, a non profit 501c3 organization, and are tax deductible. We can provide a receipt for your donation upon request.
- Sponsor A Child's Birthday Gift
A special gift for a child can be the highlight of a birthday! The kids at Genesis work with their parents to fill out a wish list so we know exactly what they are hoping for. Sponsor a child's birthday by granting their wishes and donating a new, unwrapped, gift selected from our Birthday Club Blog.
Our blog will be updated regularly to show the wish lists for the deserving kids living at Genesis who - without your support - will be without a birthday celebration.

All gifts are presented to the birthday kids as a gift from their parents, not The Birthday Club.
-Donate or sponsor materials
Each month we will need paper goods, beverages, goodie bags, and a cake. You can sign up on our Birthday Club Blog to provide these items or donate the funds with which to purchase them on a month-to-month basis. You can shop for them and drop them off at your convenience any time during the month leading up to the party!
Where can I drop off my donations?
We have three convenient drop off points in Dunwoody, Woodstock and West Midtown. Please email us prior to drop off to let us know which location works best for you, and we'll email you directions.
- Donate Entertainment
What kind of party is it without some entertainment?
Are you a professional who is a party entertainer? Do you know someone who entertains young kids professionally? Our goal is to have entertainment donated each month, and you can help by contacting and arranging or providing entertainment. Please contact us if you'd like to help, or feel free to send us leads for individuals who might be interested in working with us at leslie@birthdayclubatlanta.org All parties will be held the second Tuesday of each month (with some exceptions based on holidays, etc.) at 6:30p.
**We are very proud to have Atlanta's own Ruby the Clown providing entertainment for our very first event on August 18! Ruby specializes in working with young kids and is a delight! Check out his website at www.rubytheclown.com!**
- Donate Money
You don't have time to help but you want to? Donate money at our PayPal site. We'll do the rest and you'll make a kids day!
- Volunteer Your Time
Our parties take place on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 (with some exceptions - check the blog), and will last about an hour. We would love to have you come and help us with set up, assist with the party, and clean up. Please plan to arrive around 6:15; you'll be on your way by before 8:00.

- How to Involve Kids!
Part of our mission is to empower parents to teach their children the gift of giving back. We have lots of ideas that can help you instill the love of helping others in your children.

donation to The Birthday Club or sponsoring a Birthday Kid in lieu of party favors. Let your
child give his or her guests a small piece of candy with a note attached, "In lieu of a favor,
a Birthday Kid has been sponsored at The Birthday Club." Include our website so your
guests can learn more!
